Job Title:  Inside Sales Associate

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

Report To:  Inside Sales Manager

Department:  Sales

Pay Range:  Commensurate with Experience

Job Summary

Handle all aspects of inside sales and customer service for lumber and other building materials, hardware and supplies.  Answer phones, take and enter orders.  Coordinate deliveries and will-calls.  Assist customers with problems and returns, as needed, as well as assist the outside sales force as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with lumber, hardware, windows and door selections.

Answer phones and assist call-in customers with orders.

Prepare quotes as needed.

Work annual inventory.

Maintain showroom marketability.

Qualifications/Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills

Good time management skills

Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.

Maintain a good outlook and attitude.

Bilingual is a plus.

Training/Experience

Filing, data entry

Working knowledge of computers

Some customer service experience useful, but not required

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Other Requirements:

A drug test is required for all prospective employees.
